So I took to the brake lines of Corsair #2 and thought I’d try to add the extra detail of the springs as well. Couldn’t seem to manage to make them any smaller due to the very small scale, but I did what I could and if nothing else it’s just more detail (that most won’t even notice).
Here is a detailed photo of the brake lines and the new springs I added to all four front landing gear.
I drilled small holes on the underside and top of center bracket, but you can drill through the whole thing too.Detail of the springs Detail of the (not primed) springs Pushed a needle in cork, and twisted the thinnest wire I had around it. Then slid the wire down the needle.
It’s nice because you can take out the needle to your part to gauge the length you need. Trim the ends on a cutting mat and glue to part.

Great job on the landing gear as well, Steve!

Hey, thanks!! I did another version of the springs, where I took the thin wire and wrapped it around another thin wire instead of the pin…there was a difference in the size, but not enough to take off the springs I did above and start over. Good to know for my next project.
