Jorge has completed his second model in our P-40 build. Jorge says this is the plane of Robert T. Smith of the 3rd PS. they were known as “Hells Angels” and were denoted by the Red band. Smith had 5 kills in one day in this aircraft over Rangoon Burma on December 23rd 1941. ...

First of the Club build to be completed
Here is Jorge’s completed P-40. It’s a British Tomahawk Mk II B. This aircraft served in North Africa with the 112th squadron. It was the first P-40 with the sharkmouth. Jorge used the Airfix kit of the Curtis P-40 B Warhawk. The only aftermarket parts are the machine guns....
